Without CONSULT

OVERALL FUNCTION CHECK
This procedure can be used for checking the overall function of the throttle position sensor. During this check, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) might not be confirmed.
1. Turn ignition switch "ON".




2. Check the voltage between Engine Control Module (ECM) terminal 23 and 43 (ground) and make sure the followings:




^ The voltage when accelerator pedal fully released is approximately 0.35-0.65 volts.
^ The voltage rise is linear in response to accelerator pedal depression.
^ The voltage when accelerator pedal fully depressed is approximately 4 volts.
