POWER TRANSISTOR

Resistance Between Terminals:

a (+ lead) & b (- lead) no continuity

a (+ lead) & c (- lead) no continuity

b (+ lead) & a (- lead) some continuity

b (+ lead) & c (- lead) some continuity

c (+ lead) & a (- lead) some continuity

c (+ lead) & b (- lead) some continuity

NOTE: You MUST use a high impedance DVOM for these tests to prevent damage to components. Be sure to follow the positive and negative lead instructions exactly as given. "Some continuity" is defined as any resistance between zero and infinite ohms.
