Starter Motor: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect negative
battery cable.
2.
Remove intake air duct.
3.
Remove
battery cable from
starter motor.
4.
Remove brush cable from magnetic switch assembly.
5.
Disconnect
starter motor harness connector.
6.
Remove
starter motor mounting bolts.
7.
Remove
starter motor.
When installing, tighten
starter motor mounting bolts.
Torque:
23 - 26 Nm (2.35 - 2.7 kg.m, 17.0 - 19.2 ft.lb)
