Engine Control Module: Description and Operation

COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
The PCM consists of a microcomputer and connector for signal input and output and for power supply. The PCM controls the engine.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The malfunction information related to A/T (Automatic Transaxle) is transferred from A/T control part of PCM.

Therefore, be sure to erase the malfunction information such as DTC not only in TCM (Transmission Control Module) but also PCM after the A/T related repair.
