Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Drain brake fluid.
3. Remove the A/C high pressure and A/C low pressure lines. Refer to Heating and Air Conditioning; Air Conditioning.
4. Remove mounting bracket bolts and nuts.
5. Disconnect harness connector and brake lines.

Installation
1. Connect brake lines temporarily.
2. Tighten bolts.
3. Tighten brake lines.
4. Connect harness connector and negative battery cable.
5. Refill and bleed the brake fluid. Then bleed air. Refer to Brake Bleeding; Service and Repair.
6. Install the A/C high pressure and A/C low pressure lines. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system.
