Intake Manifold
Step 1. Tighten all bolts and nuts to 4.9 to 9.8 Nm (0.5 to 1.0 kg-m, 44 to 86 inch lbs.).
Step 2. Finally tighten all bolts and nuts to 26.5 to 31.4 Nm (2.7 to 3.2 kg-m, 20 to 23 ft. lbs.).
- Tighten all bolts and nuts to the final torque, evenly dividing the tightening into at least three steps.
Upper Intake Manifold Collector
Loosen bolts and nuts in reverse order and tighten to 17.6 to 21.6 Nm (1.8 to 2.2 kg-m, 13 to 15 ft. lbs.) in numerical order shown in the figure.
Lower Intake Manifold Collector
LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD COLLECTOR TORQUE SEQUENCE:
Tighten bolts and nuts to 17.6 to 21.6 Nm (1.8 to 2.2 kg-m, 13 to 15 ft. lbs.) in numerical order shown in the figure.
