14. Lock-up Is Not Released

SYMPTOM: Lock-up is not released when accelerator pedal is released.

1. CHECK THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH CIRCUIT

With CONSULT-II





Does TCM INPUT SIGNALS in DATA MONITOR show damage to closed throttle position switch circuit?

Without CONSULT-II
Does self-diagnosis show damage to closed throttle position switch circuit?
Yes or No
Yes >> Check closed throttle position switch circuit. Refer to DTC P0705 PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION (PNP) SWITCH.
No >> GO TO 2.

2. CHECK SYMPTOM
Check again.
OK or NG
OK >> INSPECTION END
NG >>
1. Perform TCM input/output signal inspection. Pinout Values and Diagnostic Parameters
2. If NG, recheck TCM pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
