2007 VERSA; MIL "ON" WITH DTC P1615 OR P1614 OR P1610 STORED, AND ENGINE RESTART ISSUES WHEN COLD

APPLIED VEHICLE:
2007 Versa (C11)
IF YOU CONFIRM
The MIL is "ON" with any of the following codes stored:
^ DTC P1615 or P1614 or P1610.
AND
The engine does not restart in the following conditions
^ The vehicle sat for several hours (cold soak) with outside temperatures below -12°C (10°F); and
^ The vehicle was then driven for a short period of time (5-10 minutes); and
^ The engine was then turned OFF for a short time (5-10 minutes); then
^ The engine cranks but will not start and the MIL illuminates with DTC P1615 or P1614 or P1610
NOTE:
This TSB applies only if all the above occurred.
ACTIONS
^ Replace BCM with the applicable one from the Parts Information section of this bulletin.
^ Using CONSULT-II configure BCM to vehicle.
^ Re-program ALL keys to the vehicle.
^ Reprogram ALL key fobs to the vehicle.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Print out from CONSULT-II the BCM part number.
2. See if the CONSULT-II BCM Part Number from the vehicle matches the one listed in the CONSULT-II P/N column of the Parts Information table.
^ If it does, replace the BCM with the matching P/N from the ORDER REPLACEMENT P/N column of the Parts Information table.
^ If the CONSULT-II BCM Part Number from the vehicle DOES NOT match the P/N listed in the CONSULT-II P/N column of the Parts Information table or this bulletin does not apply. Refer to the electronic Service Manual (ESM) for further diagnostic assistance.
