Install cylinder head, follow the steps below to tighten cylinder head bolts in numerical order as shown.





Arrow Indicates Engine Front

Intake Manifold

Except For California

Torque: 19.6 N.m (2.0 Kg-m, 14 ft-lb)






Tighten bolts in numerical order as shown.

Loosen bolts in reverse order as shown.

Camshaft Bearing Cap

Tighten all bolts in numerical order in three steps.





Camshaft Gear/Sprocket

Camshaft sprocket bolt (INT) : 35.0 N.m (3.6 kg-m, 26 ft-lb)

Camshaft sprocket bolt (EXH) : 88.2 N.m (9.0 kg-m, 65 ft-lb)


Exhaust Manifold

Except For California

Torque: 33.4 N.m (3.4 Kg-m, 25 ft-lb)







Tighten exhaust manifold nuts to specification in two stages in the numerical order as shown.
