ASCD INDICATOR





Description
ASCD indicator lamp illuminates to indicate ASCD operation status. CRUISE is integrated in combination meter.
CRUISE illuminates when MAIN switch on ASCD steering switch is turned ON to indicated that ASCD system is ready for operation. System Diagram for the ASCD function.




Component Function Check
1.CHECK ASCD INDICATOR FUNCTION
Check ASCD indicator under the following conditions.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - INSPECTION END
NO - Go to SEE Diagnosis Procedure.




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK DTC
Check that DTC UXXXX is not displayed.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - Perform trouble diagnosis for DTC UXXXX. U1001.
2.CHECK COMBINATION METER FUNCTION
.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3.
NO - Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
3.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Intermittent Incident.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace combination meter. Removal And Installation.
NO - Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
