The Charge Sound Does Not Sound

THE CHARGE SOUND DOES NOT SOUND

Description

- The plug-in detection sound does not sound when the charge connector is correctly connected.
- The charge acceptance sound does not sound when the charge is accepted.
NOTE:
During quick charge, the plug-in detection sound does not operate.


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK CHARGE PULSE INPUT SIGNAL

1.Connect the CONSULT.
2.Check the charge pulse input signal. Refer to "Component Function Check" Charge Pulse Signal Circuit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace the VSP control unit. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Approaching Vehicle Sound For Pedestrians (VSP) Control Unit.
NO- GO TO 2.

2. CHECK CHARGE PULSE SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Check charge pulse signal circuit. Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" Charge Pulse Signal Circuit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace the VSP control unit. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Approaching Vehicle Sound For Pedestrians (VSP) Control Unit.
NO- GO TO 3.

3. PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS OF VCM

Perform "Self Diagnostic Result" of "VCM", and repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
- Refer to "CONSULT Function" VCM.
