BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE)

Removal and Installation


REMOVAL


CAUTION:
Before replacing BCM, perform "READ CONFIGURATION" to save or print current vehicle specification. Work Procedure.
1.Remove the combination meter. Removal And Installation.





2.Remove the BCM screws (A) using a suitable tool, and pull out the BCM (1).
3.Disconnect the BCM connector and remove the BCM (1).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- When replacing BCM, perform "WRITE CONFIGURATION". Work Procedure.
- When replacing BCM, perform the system initialization (NATS). Refer to the CONSULT operation manual for the initialization procedure.
- When replacing BCM, if new BCM does not come with keyfobs attached, all existing keyfobs must be re-registered. Refer to the CONSULT operation manual for the initialization procedure.
