Engine lubrication (Typical):
1. Remove oil pan and pump baffle. Remove attaching screws and remove pump and driveshaft extension.
2. To service the pump, refer to Fig. 20.
3. To install, insert the driveshaft extension through the opening in the block until the shaft mates into the distributor drive gear. Position pump onto rear main bearing cap and torque the attaching bolts to 35 ft. lbs.
4. Install oil pump baffle and pan.
