In order to clarify the procedure concerning drive pin looseness and housing bore groove depth, Oldsmobile is providing a supplement for page 3 (Step B-12) of the Instruction Sheet in Dealer Bulletin 85-T-58, date 4/88.
The reverse side of this bulletin provides a replacement for page 3.
Please attach this supplement to all existing copies of the bulletin. Also, be aware of this change while viewing the training video tape (titled "Service Procedure for Installing Special Valve Rings on Rack and Pinion Assemblies", dated October 31, 1987 which was previously sent to your dealership.
