Governor and Speedometer Drive Gear Assembly

1. Rotate transmission so that oil pan is facing downward.

2. Remove speedometer-driven gear attaching bolts and retainer.

3. Remove speedometer-driven gear assembly and O-ring from governor cover.

4. Remove governor cover attaching bolts, then the governor cover and seal.





5. Remove the governor, bearing assembly and speedometer-drive gear assembly from case, see image.
