Front Sun Gear
1. Check front
sun gear splines, teeth and machined surface for fitting, damage or wear.
2. Install front
sun gear with identification mark, against input drum snap ring.
3. Using a suitable solvent, thoroughly clean, blow dry and check front
sun gear thrust race and bearing for damage. Replace damaged components.
4. Install front
sun gear thrust bearing and race into front carrier.
