Pump Body Assembly

1. Using a suitable screwdriver, remove pump slide spring. Spring is under tension. Position a shop towel over spring to prevent spring from flying out.

2. Remove pump slide, wear plate oil seal, rotor, rotor guide, seven vanes, two vane rings, pump slide seal support and seal.

3. Remove pivot slide pin and spring.

4. Thoroughly clean, blow dry and check pump body components.

5. Check pump body for restricted oil passages.

6. If pump body oil seal was removed, lubricate and install pump body oil seal into support pump body.

7. Turn pump body so pump pocket is facing upward.

8. Install pump slide seal back up Oring and pump wear plate seal into pump. Lubricate seals using a suitable lubricant.

9. Install pump slide into pump pocket with seal side facing downward.

10. Install pump slide seal support and pump slide seal into pump. Align pump slide seal support and pump slide seal correctly.

11. Install pivot pin spring and pivot slide pin into pump.

12. Install a vane ring into pump pocket and rotor guide into pump rotor.

13. Install pump rotor into pump pocket Align and properly seat pump rotor onto rotor guide so rotor is flush with pump slide seal.

14. Install seven vanes into pump. Ensure vane pattern is installed against vane ring.

15. Install top vane ring and pump slide spring into pump.
