Blower Motor: Service and Repair


TORONADO

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove front of cowl shield.
3. Remove bulkhead connector attaching screw, then disconnect bulkhead connector.
4. Remove Electronic Spark Control (ESC) module bracket nuts and screws, then disconnect ESC wiring connector and remove ESC module and bracket assembly.
5. Remove power steering pump bracket attaching bolts, then the bracket.
6. Remove coil bracket attaching nuts, then disconnect plug wires and electrical connectors from coils.
7. Remove plug wire guides and wiring harness conduit from bracket, then the coil and bracket assembly and position aside.
8. Remove wiring harness conduits, allowing wiring to fall towards bottom of engine.
9. Remove blower motor attaching screws, then disconnect electrical connector and motor cooling tube. Remove blower motor.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
