Compressor Replacement

4-151 (V4-121, if applicable)

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Carefully discharge refrigerant from A/C system.
3. Raise and support vehicle.
4. Remove seven splash shield attaching bolts, then the splash shield.
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Loosen, then remove compressor drive belt from compressor pulley.
7. Remove six front bracket attaching bolts, then the front bracket assembly.
8. Remove manifold bracket to compressor attaching bolt.
9. Mark, then disconnect all electrical connectors from compressor assembly.
10. Remove compressor attaching bolts, then the compressor assembly.
11. Reverse procedure to install.
