Instrument Cluster Replacement

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering column collar, if equipped and the steering column opening filler plate or lap duct assembly.
3. Remove instrument cluster trim plate attaching screws, then the trim plate.
4. Remove screws attaching steering column support to lower steering column assembly.
5. Remove instrument cluster to instrument panel attaching screws, then pull cluster assembly rearward, Figs. 3, 4 and 5. On models with electronic instrument cluster, note warning printed on front of cluster and do not touch electronic components as static electricity may damage components. Transfer NVM chip from rear of cluster, Fig. 6, and the odometer to replacement cluster.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
