SUBJECT: The 125 C Transmission Case Differences

If exchanging a THM 125C transmission, or when replacing the transmission case, watch for neutral switches on 1984 and later units.




Check the case where the manual linkage shaft extends out of the case. Many units have bosses on the case in this area for mounting the neutral safety switch. (See Figure)

Be sure the unit going in has these bosses. If it does not, the neutral safety switch cannot be installed.
