SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE - SECTION 6E2 - DRIVEABILITY AND EMISSIONS REVISED TPS SPECIFICATIONS

MODELS/YEARS:
1987-88 FIRENZA EQUIPPED WITH 2.0L (VIN 1)


This bulletin serves to update the acceptable TPS Voltage Range currently being used in Section 6E2 "Driveability And Emissions" of the 1987-1988 2.0L (VIN 1) Firenza Service Manuals. Presently, the specification is .45V to 1.25V.

The new specification has now been revised to .33V to 1.33V. A TPS whose voltage falls outside this new specification at closed throttle should, after checking connections, be replaced.
