REMOVAL

1. Hold drive belt and loosen pulley bolts. Loosen mounting bolts and remove belt and pulley.
2. Remove hoses, electrical and vacuum connections from pump, then the mounting belts and pump.
3. If needed remove control valve.
4. Filter/fan may be removed using needle nose pliers.

INSTALLATION

1. Install pump and tighten mounting bolts. Install hoses, electrical and vacuum connections.
2. Place new fan filter on hub if necessary, then spacer and pump pulley. Tighten pulley bolts equally to 10 lb ft to press the filter on to the pump. Do not hammer on filter. If new filter is installed it may squeal until seated on pump.
3. Install and adjust belt and check for proper system operation.

CONTROL VALVE

If only the control valve is to be replaced remove the hoses and electrical connectors, then the valve mounting bolts. Reverse procedure to install.
