Center Support

1. Remove fourth clutch inner and outer seal rings, then the three oil seal rings.
2. Inspect center support for sharp edges, burrs, cracks or porosity.
3. Inspect oil ring grooves for nicks or damage.
4. Inspect piston seal surfaces for scratches or nicks.
5. Inspect bushing for wear, galling and scoring.
6. Air check all oil passages.
7. Install oil seal rings. Lubricate rings with Transjel.
8. Install fourth clutch inner and outer seal rings with lips facing down.
9. Install thrust washer, retaining with Transjel.
10. Install center support, aligning bolt holes.
11. Install two center support bolts. Do not tighten bolts at this time.
12. Install snap ring, with beveled side facing up.
13. Torque center support retaining bolts to specifications.
