Front Carrier Assembly
1. Inspect pinions for chipped or cracked gears, bearings for roughness, and thrust washer for scoring, pitting, or damage. Replace as necessary.
2. Check front carrier pinion endplay. Pinion endplay should measure
0.009 - 0.027 inch.3. Install thrust bearing with inside diameter against carrier. Retain bearing using Transjel.
4. Install front carrier and thrust bearing assembly into case.
