Keyless Entry Transmitter Battery: Service and Repair

Transmitter Battery Replacement:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Screw
2. Cover (leave seal in place)
3. Two batteries

Install or Connect

1. Two batteries (positive side down) Duracell(R) DL2016 or equivalent.
2. Cover (put seal back into position if it came out of position in Step 2 above)
3. Screw
4. Check for proper operation

Normal battery life is approximately two years. The batteries should be replaced when the range of the RLC transmitter begins to decrease significantly.
