Hydraulic Assembly: Service and Repair

Fig. 67 Brake Control Solenoid Removal:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect solenoid electrical connector, Fig. 67.
3. Remove solenoid assembly retaining bolt, then the solenoid from the modulator.
4. Reverse procedure to install, torque retaining bolt to 39 inch lbs. and bleed ABS brake control assembly as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE/BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING.
