Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

Fig. 9 Ignition Coil Module Replacement. 3.3L/V6-204:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect 14 terminal electrical connector at ignition coil module.
3. Disconnect and tag spark plug wires at coils.
4. Remove nuts and washers attaching ignition coil module to bracket, then remove module, Fig. 9.
5. If necessary, remove bolts attaching coils to ignition coil module, then remove coils.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque coil to ignition coil module attaching bolts to 27 inch lbs.
