Automatic Transmission/Transaxle: Testing and Inspection

Prior to performing the following procedures, refer to the "Technical Service Bulletins" section in this chapter.

Always check for the following conditions when troubleshooting any type of transaxle malfunction:

1. Incorrect oil.

2. Improperly adjusted, disconnected, bound or broken TV cable.

3. Manual linkage improperly adjusted.

4. Incorrect oil pressure.
