Forward Discriminating Sensor

1. Disarm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DEACTIVATION.
2. Disconnect connector position assurance and sensor pigtail electrical connection.
3. Remove sensor pigtail wiring from clips.
4. Remove bolts and upper radiator tie bar to grill reveal molding.
5. Remove sensor bolts and sensor.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS/TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS for torque values.
7. Rearm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM ACTIVATION.
