Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

PCM DATA LINE
1. If all components are not accessible with a scan tool, check for an open in CKT 800 between the Data Link Connector (DLC) terminal "M" and S237.

2. If a single component is not accessible with a scan tool, check for an open in circuit CKT 800 between splice S237 and the component. If the wire is OK, refer to:

Computers and Control Systems/Powertrain Control Module/Testing and Inspection; Engine Control Module

Brakes and Traction Control for Antilock Brake System (ABS) diagnosis; Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems

Air Bags and Seat Belts for Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) diagnosis; Air Bag Systems

Heating and Air Conditioning for HVAC Control Assembly diagnosis. Heating and Air Conditioning

ENTERTAINMENT AND COMFORT DATA LINE
1. If all components are not accessible with a scan tool, check for an open in circuit CKT 835 between DLC terminal "J" and splice S225.

2. If a single component is not accessible with a scan tool, check for an open circuit CKT 835 between splice S225 and the component.
