EGR Valve: Application and ID

EGR Valve Identification:






EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VALVE IDENTIFICATION
^ Negative backpressure EGR valves are stamped with a "N" on the top side of the valve after the part number.
^ Positive backpressure EGR valves are stamped with a "P" on the top side of the valve after the part number.
^ Port EGR valves will have no identification stamped after the part number.

When replacing an EGR valve, always check for correct part number in the part catalog or supplemental bulletins.
