Component Tests and General Diagnostics

START DIAGNOSTICS HERE
Perform the checks listed below before consulting System Diagnosis.

1. If windows move slowly, check for:

^ Mechanical binding or non-greased pivot joints.
^ Fully charged Battery.
^ Clean and tighten ground G200.

2. If switches do not illuminate when Park Lamps are turned "ON," refer to Interior Lights.

3. If the Express Down Feature does not work, but window moves down with each switch depression, replace the LH Window Switch.

^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity or voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).

^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
