Knock Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT 1.
Negative battery cable.
2.
Knock Sensor (KS) wiring harness connector from knock sensor.
3.
Knock sensor from engine block.
INSTALL OR CONNECT 1.
Knock sensor onto engine block. Be sure threads are clean.

Tighten sensor to
16-22 Nm (12-16 lb ft) 2.
KS wiring harness connector to knock sensor.
3.
Negative battery cable.
