Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Replacement

Throttle Body Assembly:






TOOL REQUIRED
J 29607, ISC Adjusting Wrench

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Throttle Position (TP) sensor connector.
2. TP sensor at throttle body.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. TP sensor at throttle body.

Tighten
Bolts to 2.0 Nm (18 lb. in.).

2. TP sensor connector.

ADJUST
1. Perform Chart C-2B Idle Speed Control check.
- Refer to Computers and Control Systems / System Diagnosis. Testing and Inspection
2. Perform "TP SENSOR LEARN" procedure.
3. Perform "IDLE LEARN" procedure.
- TP SENSOR LEARN and the IDLE LEARN procedure are located at Fuel System / Service and Repair. Service and Repair
