EGR Valve: Service and Repair

EGR Valve Replacement:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Electrical connector at solenoid.
2. 2 bolts.
3. EGR valve from stand.

Inspect
EGR passages in the crossover waterpump housing for deposits. Refer to EGR System / Service and repair. Service and Repair

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Cleaned or replacement EGR valve using new gasket.
2. 2 bolts.

Tighten
Bolts to 24 Nm (18 lb. ft.).

3. Electrical connector at solenoid.
