Ignition Cable: Service and Repair

Spark Plug Wires:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Intake manifold cover.
2. Spark plug wires at Ignition Control (IC) module assembly.
3. Spark plug wires at spark plugs.

CAUTION: Use care when removing spark plug boots from spark plugs. Twist the boot 1/2 turn before removing and then PULL ON THE BOOT ONLY to remove it. DO NOT PULL ON THE WIRE as this may damage the spark plug wire.

4. Spark plug wire conduit from intake manifold.
5. Complete spark plug wire assembly from vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Position complete spark plug wire assembly on top of engine.
2. Spark plug wire conduit onto intake manifold.
3. Spark plug wires at spark plugs. Make sure boots are fully seated.
4. Spark plug wires at Ignition Control (IC) module assembly.
5. Intake manifold cover.
