Conditions
a. Engine warm and running at idle

b. Temperature outside vehicle at 8°C (48°F) or higher

Notes:

1. If engine was recently running, a purge delay of approximately 20 seconds may be encountered before a selected mode is activated. This delay is normal and is designed to prevent windshield fogging.

2. To prevent windshield frosting during cold start up and cool outside temperatures, system delays selected operation modes until engine is warm (except when defrost is selected).

3. If the results are NOT as illustrated in the Response Chart Refer to the Diagnostic Code and Symptom Table for diagnosis guidance. Testing and Inspection
