Inflator Module - Replacement

Inflator Module:

Steering Wheel:

Remove or Disconnect

^ Disable the (SIR) system.
1. Two screws from the back of the steering wheel using a # 30 torx(R) driver (or equivalent).
2. Connector position assurance (CPA) clip and electrical connection from rear of inflator module.
3. Inflator module.

Install or Connect

1. Electrical and connector position assurance (CPA) clip to rear of inflator module.
2. Inflator module to steering wheel and four screws through back of steering wheel.

Tighten
^ Screws to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

^ Enable the SIR system.
