Heater And A/C Module:




Side Window Ducts:




Defroster Duct:






Tools Required:
J 39500 Air Conditioning Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Recharging (ACR4) System
J 37097-A Hose Clamp Pliers

Remove or Disconnect

1. Disable SIR system.
2. Recover refrigerant.
3. Position cruise control and bracket assembly out of the way.
4. Raise and support vehicle.
5. Heater hoses from heater core (pinch off hose to prevent leaking).
6. A/C lines from evaporator.
7. IP assembly.
8. Defroster duct.
9. Module to floor duct.
10. Side window defroster ducts (left and right).
11. Passenger air bag.
12. PCM and bracket.
13. Electrical connectors.
14. Right center IP mounting bracket.
15. HVAC module.

Install or Connect

1. HVAC module assembly to vehicle.
2. HVAC module nuts to dash.

Tighten
^ Nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb. in.).

3. Right center IP mounting bracket.
4. Electrical connectors.
5. PCM and bracket.
6. Passenger air bag.
7. Side window ducts (left and right).
8. Connector duct to module and floor duct.
9. Defroster duct.
10. IP assembly.
11. Reposition cruise control and bracket assembly.
12. Heater hoses to heater core.
13. A/C lines from evaporator.
14. Enable SIR system.
15. Evacuate, charge and leak test the A/C system.
