Lower Controls Assembly Installation

LOWER CONTROLS ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION 4T80-E TRANSAXLE







1. Place the lower controls valve body assembly over the forward support studs. Hand start the bolts into the channel plate. The bolts (958) without the flange are located next to the transfer plate.
2. Install the two nuts (955) on the forward support studs. Place the oil transfer plate (956) over the open gasket area.
3. Hand start the bolts (534) to hold the plate in place with the wiring harness retaining clips attached properly.

Tighten
- Tighten the bolts and nuts (534, 955, 958) to 8-14 N.m (6-10 lb. ft).
