Condenser Replacement

Condenser Assembly:






REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Recover refrigerant from the system.

2. Upper fan shroud.

3. Radiator.

4. Compressor and condenser hose assembly from condenser.

5. Evaporator tube from condenser.

6. Insulator retainer bolts and upper insulator retainers.

7. Condenser.


INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Condenser. Refer to "Refrigerant Oil Distribution," if replacing condenser.

NOTICE: Refer to "Fasteners" under "Vehicle Damage Warnings."

2. Upper insulator retainers and insulator retainer bolts.

^ Tighten bolts to 2.4 Nm (21 lbs. in.).


3. Evaporator tube to condenser.

4. Compressor and condenser hose assembly to condenser.

5. Radiator.

6. Upper fan shroud.

7. Refrigerant to the system.

^ Check the system for leaks.
