Power Window Master Switch Assembly Operation

With the ignition switch in RUN position, battery voltage is applied to the power window master switch assembly from circuit breaker 1.

Battery voltage is applied to the window motor when any UP switch in the power window master switch assembly not associated with express down is operated. The window motor is grounded through the DOWN contact in the power window master switch assembly. The motor runs to drive the window up. Battery voltage is applied to the window motor in the opposite direction when any DOWN switch in the power window master switch assembly is operated. The window motor is grounded through the UP contact in the power window master switch assembly. The motor runs to drive the window down.
