Cruise Control Cable Replacement

Cruise Control Module Mounting Bracket To Fender Well:

Cruise Control Cable Routing:

Cruise Control Cable To Throttle Bracket:

Cruise Control Cable Adjustment:

Cruise Control Cable To Module:

Cruise Control Cable To Module Retainer:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Cruise control cable tab from TBI cam. Rotate throttle body cam to 1/4 open throttle to release tab.
2. Push locating fitting inward to release cable and pull from throttle body bracket.
3. Cable assembly from module by 1/4 turn counter clockwise.
4. Cable from ribbon.
5. Cable from retaining clips.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Cable to retaining clips.
2. Cable to ribbon.

Important
^ Make sure that ribbon DOES NOT become twisted when connecting cable to module.

3. Cable assembly to module by 1/4 turn clockwise.
4. Cruise control cable tab to TBI cam.
5. Align cruise control cable fitting to throttle body bracket and snap into place.
6. Adjust cruise control cable.
