Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

MAP Sensor Service:






Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. The Fuel Injector harness is attached to the MAP Sensor bracket. Disconnect the Fuel Injector Harness from the MAP Sensor.
3. Remove the bolt/screws (2).
4. Remove the electrical connector.
5. Remove the inlet vacuum hose.
6. Remove the MAP sensor from the bracket.

Installation Procedure
1. Installation the inlet vacuum hose.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Position the MAP sensor to bracket and drive bolt/screws (2) securely seated and not stripped.
4. Connect the Fuel Injector harness to the MAP Sensor bracket.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
