Troubleshooting Hints
PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS1. Refer to Body Control Module for diagnostic procedures. Computers and Control Systems
2. Check Fuse 1 in RH I/P Power Distribution Center and Fuse 6A in I/P Fuse Block. If open, check for a short to ground in CKT 540 and CKT 640.
3. Check for a poor connection at ground G201.
4. Before component replacement. check for poor terminal contact at component connector and harness connector.
5. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
6. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove good in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. (Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures.) Diagnostic Aids
