Remove or Disconnect

Tool Required:
J 39232 Wiper Transmission Separator

1. Wiper arm and blade assemblies.
2. Washer hose (6).
3. Air inlet screen assembly (C).
4. Transmission drive link (5) socket from wiper motor crank arm (T) using J 39232.
5. Electrical connectors from wiper motor assembly (15).
6. Three screws (18).
7. Wiper motor assembly (15) while guiding crank arm (P) through hole.

Install or Connect

Tool Required:
J 39529 Wiper Transmission Installer


1. Wiper motor assembly (15) while guiding crank arm (T) through hole.
2. Three screws (18).

Tighten
^ Screws (18) to 9 Nm (80 lb. in.).

3. Electrical connectors to wiper motor assembly (15).
4. Transmission drive link (5) socket to wiper motor crank arm (T) ball using J 39529. Be sure socket is fully seated on ball.
5. Air inlet screen assembly (C).
6. Washer hoses (6).
7. Wiper arm and blade assemblies.
