Fluid Pan: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
2. Loosen pan bolts and drain fluid.
3. Pan attaching bolts.
4. Pan and gasket.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Pan and gasket. Oil pan gasket may be re-used, unless sealing ribs are damaged. If damaged, use new gasket.
2. Pan attaching bolts.
^ Tighten pan colts to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
3. Lower vehicle.
4. Refill transaxle to proper level with DEXRON III fluid.
5. Check oil pan gasket for leaks.
