Switch Plate

Removing Switch Plate:






Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Two trim panel retaining screws (Oldsmobile).
3. Slide pull handle lower inboard to disengage from switch plate (Oldsmobile).
4. Switch plate by inserting small flat-bladed tool between trim panel at either forward or rearward edge to disengage retainer clips fro trim panel (Oldsmobile).
5. Switch plat by inserting a small flat-bladed tool between switch plate and trim panel at forward retaining clip (Buick and Pontiac).
6. Lift switch plate.
7. Electrical connectors.
8. Setscrew from remote mirror control, if used.

Install or Connect

1. Remote mirror control to switch plate and tighten setscrew, if used.
2. Electrical connectors.
3. Switch assembly. Engage snaps into trim panel.
4. Negative battery cable.
