Engine Oil: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE 1.
Raise the vehicle. Refer to
Vehicle Lifting.
2.
Remove the oil pan drain plug.
3.
Drain the engine oil.
4.
Remove the
oil filter.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1.
Install the
oil filter to the engine.
2.
Install the oil pan drain plug.
3.
Lower the vehicle.
4.
Fill engine to the proper level with oil.
5.
Start engine and check for leaks.
